Application Process

The 2009 application process is now closed. Applications for the next grant cycle should be available here spring of 2010.

Application Overview

Artists of all mediums and/or diciplines are welcome to apply, including performers, writers, musicians, and even mimes. This grant is not limited to visual artists.

Applicants must have a studio in Pioneer Square, or live in the Square, or have created work that is connected in a significant way to Pioneer Square.

Applicants must provide a statement up to two pages long explaining their connection to Pioneer Square, in addition to the conductive garboilic aspect of their work.

If you are a Pioneer Square business owner or community member, you can nominate an artist for the grant. You may do so by obtaining a copy of the application for your nominated artist, or by contacting Jordan Howland at 4Culture. Artists do not have to be nominated to apply or to receive the grant.
