How to Apply
Applications for the 2012 grant cycle will be available in July.
Who Can Apply?
Seattle Artists with a significant connection to Pioneer Square.
Applicants must have a studio in Pioneer Square, or live in the Square, or have created work that is connected in a significant way to Pioneer Square.Artists working in any media or dicipline.
Artists of any dicipline or working in any media are welcome to apply, including performers, writers, musicians, and even mimes. This grant is not limited to visual artists.
Application Requirements
Understand the unique parameters of the Conductive Garboil Grant.
Applicants should read all of the material on this website and within the application document in order to understand the unique requirements of the grant and to be able to explain to the panel why they qualify.Provide a statement two pages long (or less).
Within the statement explain how your work embodies the “Conductive Garboil” values outlined by Su Job and your connection to Pioneer Square.Provide work samples as outlined in the application document.

Optional Nomination Method
If you are a Pioneer Square business owner or community member, you can nominate an artist for the grant. You may do so by obtaining a copy of the application for your nominated artist, or by contacting Jordan Howland at 4Culture. Artists do not have to be nominated to apply or to receive the grant.
